How records are kept
One record per city: logging a city you've already visited updates that city's amount and date instead of adding a duplicate row. Everything is stored in your private datastore and scoped to your signed-in account only.
How currencies are handled
Each trip keeps the currency you entered it in. The spend-by-city chart and the totals convert to the currency of your most recent entry so the bars stay comparable.
